Unfair and Unbalanced

It is plain to see just how far the major news outlets are "in the tank" for Obama.  Of all the major news outlets, only Fox News was above the feeding frenzy on Sarah Palin.  I watched in disgust as Wolf Blitzer was interviewing Bill Bennett the night of the announcement that Bristol Palin was pregnant out of wedlock.  Blitzer would not stop pressing Secretary Bennett over this issue despite his insistence that it should be left alone.  Then you have the morons on MSNBC (More Stupid Nonsense Being Concocted) who feel that she should be dropped from the ticket, and even question McCain's decision making ability because of her "so-called baggage".  These clowns wouldn't know journalism if it smacked them in the face!!  Hannity is dead on when he says that journalism died in 2008.
Then the half-hearted call from The One to lay off the families just shows how dirty his hands are as well.  You know that he has his goons going after her and even releasing her social security number just so that she will be humiliated enough to drop out.  This is even lower than the tactics that he pulled to get all of his opposition thrown off the ballot in Illinois so he could get elected to the state senate.  Barack Obama is nothing more than a slimy Chicago Democrat weasel that will stoop to any level of indecent, immoral, and inhumane tactics in order to get an advantage in a campaign.  This is just another reason to add to the long list of reasons why this sleaze-ball should NOT be elected.
The sad thing is that none of this will ever come out.  The media is far too gone to even think about touching The One.  I really hope that when O'Reilly does to talk to him that Mr. Obama will get the proper grilling that he should over this and many other issues.  But then again, he only has an hour to do it in.

McPalin and the WOW factor

I have to say that the pick of Sarah Palin was BRILLIANT!  I am very pleased with this choice and I know that everybody was talking about it over the weekend.  She is everything that McCain wants in a running mate.  She's pro-life, tough on corrupt pork-barrell earmarks, has EXECUTIVE leadership experience, pro-2nd Amendment, and has the WOW factor.
I was at work the morning she was announced as the VP pick.  A conservative (and a latina) co-worker calls me from home to tell me the news and how excited she is about Gov. Palin.  I couldn't get over her excitement.  The rest of the staff on duty were also buzzing about the pick as well.  Another comment about Gov. Palin I heard was "she's hot!" meaning she's georgeous. Funny - but that isn't the reason I'd use to make up my mind about who to vote for.  My email box nearly exploded with WOW messages over her selection.  Even my Democrat mother was suprised and had a few nice things to say about her - not that she's going to vote for McCain, but I was suprised by her comments.
McCain has certainly put the WOW back in the campaign!!

Gov. Palin has already been criticized by Obama's camp as being just as inexperienced as we are making him out to be. Hmmm, do I sense a bit of realization that Obama is nothing more than an over-ambitious, empty-suited, corrupt Chicago politician?  Let's see...

  • She is in command of real military units as Alaska's govenor.
  • She is the chief executive for Alaska's government.
  • She has made real (and effective) changes in the way the state is run.
  • She has fundamental political viewpoints and hasn't moved from them to fit the audience she's addressing.
  • She isn't corrupted by Chicago's Democratic Machine, Hollywood's deep pockets,  or blinded by ambition when choosing associations (Rev. Wright, Fr. Pflager, Tony Rezko, William Ayers).  AND
  • (As my friend would say) She is "hot"

The One and Gustav

If the nincompoops of the left think so highly of THE ONE - and are genuinely concerned for the welfare of the people of New Orleans and the gulf coast - then why don't they have him stand at the mouth of the Mississippi River, hold up his arms and command the seas to be still?!?  Oh that's right - he's just a man with the same empty promises as the rest of Washington liberals.  See, I told you The One is human after all. AHHH-hahahaha!

Hung Over

Sorry gang for not posting too much in the past few days.  I guess you'd say I am a bit hung over from the hoopla of the past few days.  You can expect me to add "my 2 cents" in the coming months leading up to election day.  Hope you'll enjoy and comment as well.  I'm just a simple guy with a silly sense of humor - so bear with me.

"Get me a young priest and an old priest..."

Y'all remember that line from "The Exorcist"?  Well, seems the DNC did too.  They got an "old priest" to go along with their "young priest" to try and "exorcise" our hold on the White House.  I'd say that this should be a slam dunk for the McCain team.  The Dems can't bring up age, or the tired line "more of the same" anymore since they've got one of the most senior senators running along with The One.  The Dems realized just how weak he really is and are trying to shore up his lack of experience by getting Biden.
Biden is an interesting character.  Yes, he's very smart when it comes to foreign policy.  He's one of the few on Capitol Hill that I've heard that had any kind of a plan for a post-Saddam Iraq.  Having served over there, I was hopeful that Biden might be able to have some sway with the Defense dept. in getting us out safely with a win.  He did say - before the surge - that we needed to provide a secure environment for the Iraqi government to grow and demonstrate to the people that they are capable of holding power.  As you now know, Iraq is just about ready for us to let their military and police handle the security part and have us there as a backup.  I'm not saying that I'm "going over to the dark side" because of Biden.  I just think he's another stunt by the Dems to help polish The One's image as a leader.  This whole week is going to be nauseating to watch with all the lies, and the omissions of fact about The One and Number Two.
Remember folks, these guys have some of the slimiest weasels working for them - so don't let your friends and family get suckered in.  Keep speaking out and spreading the truth about the lies about Obama and Biden.  We all know what they are - no plans to fix the energy crisis, more taxes to "redistribute the wealth", and no spines when dealing with Russia, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Venezuela, the Saudis, Hamas......

THROW THE DEMOCRATS OUT OF CONGRESS AND KEEP THEM OUT OF THE WHITE HOUSE!!!

Trip thru the Heartland

I'm back from an unplanned trip up to Chicago to get my daughter from the Navy's school for Hospital Corpsmen.  A good program, and an honorable rating in the Navy.  But I digress...
Along the way, we saw a good cross-section of America and just how beautiful our country really is.  Here are a few things we noticed:
  • The booming wind turbine industry in north central Texas.  There are hundreds of turbines for miles and miles along I-20 around Sweetwater.  T. Boone Pickens and his people should be proud.  These turbines are neat to look at and help to break-up the monotony of driving this stretch of highway.
  • Most folks are just plain everyday people trying to get by.  The men and women who work along the highways in truck stops, toll booths, restaurants, hotels, farms, etc. are the real America.  I've always thought that if you want to see real Americans - drive along our highways.
  • There is a LOT of corn being grown in the Midwest.  All we'd see for miles and miles in Illinois was huge fields of corn.  What I can't figure out is "Why are there people complaining that ethanol is taking all the grain away when there are such huge fields of corn and so few gas stations that sell ethanol?".  Is ethanol that inefficiently produced?
  • Chicago is a great town, but why are the roads always under construction?  Is it because the politicians are so involved with the road construction companies?  Even in Chicago, they realize just how crooked their politicians are - so why are they still there?

Anyway, I thought you'd like to know that America isn't dead yet.  People are getting restless, but not to the point of picking up pitchforks and heading to Capitol Hill to chase the dolts out of the building.  Talking with these folks made me realize how far removed we Americans have made ourselves from those who influence our livelihoods.  So you folks who read these blogs need to go out and educate your friends and neighbors about what can happen if they stay complacent.  Ask them to read our blogs.  Ask them to think about what is going on in their city or state.  Get them active.

Have we lost our "Cajones?"

The conflict between Georgia and Russia is evidence enough that our once great nation has been effectively neutered.  While it would be wise to gingerly deal with the Russians (remember - they still have nukes pointed at us) we just don't carry the clout like we once did.  Apparently the tarnished image of our nation in the world's eyes has weakened even more, and Russia had the golden opportunity to march into Georgia, sieze more oil rich assets and swat the buzzing fly of a warm Georgian relationship with the U.S.  A "perfect storm" came together with the coming U.S. elections, Georgia pushing to hold onto North Ossetia, the world indifference, and the U.S. military streched so thin already.  Not only that, but it makes us look even more weak as we struggle to meet our energy demands here at home.
The sad thing is that no longer the U.S. is considered a leader in keeping the peace.  Any nation that can somehow justify invading a neighboring country (as is the case here) has no need to fear from international consequences.  We are beginning a new age of Eastern Despotism where economically, and militarily strong countries like Russia and China will rule the day.  Be ready for the new superpowers, because this old one had been put on life support.  Our "shining city on the hill" isn't so shiny anymore.  We are headed for dark territory - and now more than ever our country needs to be vigilant for those who would do us further harm.  Support the movement for energy independence.  Support those who stand for American values, and not the Socialist lies.  Don't fall for the hype of "Change".  Change is good - if it is needed.  But steering this nation further left is NOT the way to go.  WE NEED A GOOD STRONG LEADER WHO WILL PUT HIS COUNTRY FIRST!  WE NEED SOMEONE THAT WILL NOT GO ASKING FOR PERMISSION SLIPS TO TAKE CARE OF AMERICAN INTERESTS.  WE NEED SOMEONE WITH A PAIR OF "CAJONES"!

Olympics or New World Order?

Ok, I was one of the billions of people that watched at least a part of the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics on Friday.  I'll admit, it wasn't as weird as some of the previous opening ceremonies (anything Euro within the last 20 years). But there seems to be a growing trend in the Olympic movement toward a "One World Order".  Sure the games are supposed to bring the world together, but in sports competition - NOT IDEOLOGY!  It appears that the Euro-Socialists decided that the IOC was a perfect forum to spew their leftist, eco-nazi agendae.  It's no wonder that all the presidents of the IOC have been Europeans.
I also find it interesting that since the NBC (Nothin' but Commies) network has been broadcasting the Games (for the last 20 years) they have slowly turned their coverage into another forum for the same Leftist views.  I was cringing during much of the comments made by Costas and Lauer during the parade of nations.  At least NBC had enough "integrity" not to put uber-lefty Keith Olberman on.  I just hope we won't be made to sit through any of his snide remarks during the games.

The thing that I am sensing lately is that we are witnessing the "coming out party" for what could be an adversary greater than the former Soviet Union.  As was correctly cited in the commentary last night, China is the 3rd largest economy in the world.  However, they are poised to overtake both Japan and the U.S. very soon.  China will be even more stronger than Russia because of its wealth and influence.  I can't recall a time when a country like China that opposes our values of freedom and democracy was ever this strong.  With the socialist movement gaining strength worldwide, we will be faced with what could be our "last hurrah" as a free-market, center-conservative nation.  Our national values are at risk, and we must do all that we can to stand for our American Ideals.

Liberals say the most damn dumba$$ things

I just wish that Hannity would reach across the desk and slap the sh*t out of Colmes or one of these idiots.  Sure, that would probably get him a year behind bars, and maybe even blacklisted - sometimes these clowns need a good whack upside the head to get their attention.  I can't believe that there are people out there that believe some of the crap that falls out of the mouths of Obama, Pelosi, and Reid.

(I think I may have just come up with a new GOP slogan..."Obama, Pelosi and Reid - OH MY!"  Obama can play the Scarecrow because he doesn't have enough brains to fill that over-inflated head of his.  Pelosi could be the Tin Man because she doesn't have a heart for what the people are saying.  And Reid could be the Cowardly Lion because he took off with Pelosi to go on vacation and not face the people either - like a true coward.  Tell me what you think!?)

I was watching/listening to Hannity&Colmes this evening.  The funniest thing happened and it was too bad that the show had to go for a break - cuz it would have been funny to see another unemployed political science major (er, Democratic party 'Strategist') get her tail waxed.  I wish I could remember "Buffy's" name, but it was the segment when they had a panel on arguing over the 2 candidates' energy plans and drilling.  The one GOP analyst was going on about this and that and stated (truthfully) that the Democrats are against drilling for oil - period.  In the background (as is usually the case when an intelligent point is made) you could hear "Buffy" scream out in her shrill nasal voice, "The Democrats are for drilling!".

Oh really!?!  So, they are for drilling?  Not if "Commrade Pelosi" and her eco-nazi supporters can help it!  "Buffy" better check that against what Sen. Salazar (D-CO), Sen. Reid (D-NV), and every single one of the other Democrat liberals that walked out to go on vacation last Friday are saying.  Even if these jacka$$es did lie to their constituents back home and "support" the idea of drilling, they wouldn't do it when it came time to (cough, cough) "go back to work".

Don't let these weasels get away with stealing our government!  Call, Fax, E-Mail, Write, corner the bastards when they show up at home and tell them what you think.  They need to know what "We the People" are in favor of.  No more excuses!  No more games!  No more lies!  We deserve a government that listens to us and not some idiotic group of dimwits from Hollywood, or George Soros, or anyone else that can buy their vote.  If they don't listen, tell your friends and neighbors what rotten representation we have and vote these bastards out of office.

How Did They Miss This?

Well, Obama did it again.  That guy will do anything to get elected.  If you missed his big announcement that he may be in favor of off-shore drilling (if its packaged with other alternative energy plans) then you aren't the only ones.  I like how he
"conveniently" came out with this latest flip-flop the day after Congress packed up for the rest of the summer and told the remaining GOP members to "lock up when you're done playing in the dark".  He did this just so he could let his fellow weasels off the hook.  The timing was uncanny, and the deed was dastardly.  Once again the American public gets screwed over by the Dems and their dirty political games.  Obama wants to come off like he has new ideas and will get the Congress to work on "his" energy plan when he gets elected and make McCain look bad.  This is just another in a series of stunts that these slimeballs pulled in order to maintain power and control of "Pelosi's Politburo".  It is disgusting and shows how little these assholes care about the American public.

***IMPORTANT!!***   I have a website for all of you to go check out.  Its www.emailthecongress.com and from there you can send email maessages to ALL members of the House and Senate.  Its free and fairly easy to do.  I suggest that all who feel as I do about the Congress skipping town and ignoring the will of the people - to flood all their offices with emails (somebody has to go through these) and let them know what we think.  "We're mad as hell and we're not going to take it anymore!!"

Obama is basically the best (or worst as the case may be) of "Slick Bubba Clinton" and his slimy way of dancing around issues and getting all the media hype -- AND the Ultra-Liberal tendencies of FDR and George McGovern.  If the public is too stupid to see that then we deserve the havoc he'll cause to this country.  Don't let your friends and neigbors fall for this clown.  STOP OBAMA'S SLICK ULTRA LIBERAL CAMPAIGN!!!

The arrogance of the Left

Why is it that the Left all think they're so great?  Are they any better than you or I?  Most people don't realize it, but they can't help it.  I have taken lots of personality tests for various management jobs and leadership courses.  The catagories of people range from business-like and pragmatic to artsy and free-thinking.  There are also different styles of communication.  Some folks just want to know the facts and only share the facts when they talk with you.  Others are flamboyant and go into long stories.  I'm sure that you can think of people you know or work with that fit somewhere on these scales.

Take for example, John McCain.  He was a career Naval Officer.  He was used to order and following a very regimented set of rules.  His communication style fits the typical military officer - brief and succinct.  Then look at Barack Obama.  He never had a real job in his life.  His upbringing was wild to say the least - going from place to place.  His communication style is a product of his upbringing - he had to be different and colorful to gain attention.

It is no wonder that so many "artsy" types (actors, musicians, college professors, obnoxious preachers) gravitate to Obama and the Left.  They are "hardwired" to be Liberal.  They want to try to make the world a better place because they think that they know all the answers.  They don't care that proven conservative policy works for the economy, works in foreign policy, works in social policies, etc.  They are ARROGANT because they think they know better because of their creative minds.

Don't believe the hype!

Commrade Pelosi

I wonder just how stupid the people of San Fran. really are.  They must still be feeling the effects of all the LSD and pot they smoked back in the 60's.  Let's review shall we?
  • Code Pink continues to have free reign to terrorize military recruiting offices, and enjoys the support of the local government.
  • Gay marriage is instated by the 9th circuit court in direct opposition to the will of the people of California.
  • They fawned all over Barry Bonds the "so-called" home-run king despite the obvious use of steroids to help him achieve the title.
  • Senators Feinstein and Boxer ('nuff said).
  • Speaker of the House "Commrade" Pelosi is their representative.
I have serious doubts over the mental capacity of the people of San Francisco and most of California.

Okay, now the real reason for today's rant... "Commrade" Pelosi continues to stick her fingers in her ears to drown out the voices of the people.  She continues to block any and all attempts to bring the subject of opening off-shore drilling to the floor of the House.  What kind of arrogant, bull-headed, twit does she think she is?  Polls (and you know how politicians LOVE polls) consistently have shown that the American people are for increasing domestic oil production increases - INCLUDING drilling off-shore and even on land.
It appears Commrade Pelosi thinks she's the Premier of her own little Communist Dictatorship known as Congress and can do whatever she wants despite the people's wishes.  The rest of the "Politburo" of this dictatorship (Obama, Rangel, Conyers, Schumer, Reid, etc.) are in lockstep with the idea that the people are too stupid to know what's good for them.  They need to have the all-benevolent Congress tell us that we need to shut-up and take what they give us.

I have taken it upon myself to write (politely) to the Premier and tell her to take her f'ing fingers out of her ears.  I highly doubt that I will be graced with a reply - other than "thank you for writing, but I only will listen to my constituents".  Which brings me back to the beginning of this post.  Why are the people of San Francisco so damn ?@!# stupid?

GRRRR!

A bit of experience goes a long way...

You've gotta hand it to the guy, BHO is one slick character.  He's almost as good as Bubba Clinton ever was.   Obama has the 'audacity' to claim that he's an African-American.  Well, technically he's right.  His heritage is African-American, but he's not "Black-American".  The difference lies in how you are brought up and what you relate to culturally.
If you are brought up in a neighborhood that is predominately "black" (for instance, a 'ghetto'). Then that could influence your world view and your identity.  The "black" community has a totally different view of the world and identity than others.  To understand this one needs to have lived, been brought up, and/or identify with this community.  I'm not trying to sound racist, or claim that one is better than another.  Read on and you will understand what I am driving at.
Mr. Obama was primarily raised by his white grandparents.  Now being raised by your grandparents does happen frequently in the black community.  However, he was raised in a white community and is a far cry from a black neighborhood.  He did live for a time overseas, but again it was far removed from the black community.  He attended an Ivy League Law school, and you can't get much further away from the black community than that.  So then he decides to become a "community activist" on the south side of Chicago.  He's finally arrived in "Black America".  Having worked there for just a few short years he's on to politics and his triumphal march toward the White House.  Again, he left behind the black community he supposedly is a part of and is championing.
I (on the other hand) grew up in the city of Detroit, just as "white flight" (white families moving out to the suburbs) was getting in full swing.  I saw my neighborhood begin to deteriorate.  I went to public schools and played with my black neighbors and friends.  I attended a church in a neighborhood that was full of drugs and run down, abandoned houses and businesses.  I was lucky enough to have parents who sacrificed to send me and my brother to one of the most expensive and academically challenging high schools in the city (University of Detroit Jesuit H.S.).  I served in the military twice and have been to Iraq.  I've worked in some of the worst parts of the city and saw the crime and deterioration all around me.  I went to University of Detroit-Mercy which is in the heart of Detroit and got my nursing degree with my own money.  I know what its like to be discriminated against, and how to struggle to get ahead.  I'm more "black" than Obama claims to be...but I am white and conservative (much to the chagrin of my parents).
I place my trust in the ability of the individual person to achieve if the government stays out of the way to allow them to do it.  People don't need a nanny to spoon feed them and keep them submissive to the whims of the so-called benevolent leaders in Washington.  People need to have the government stand aside and allow people the opportunities to create, to grow, to achieve their dreams.
Don't let your friends get fooled by the slick, well-crafted, well-orchestrated platitudes of Obama and his stooges.  Don't vote for a person because of their "heritage".  Don't believe the hype!

Losing the Army's vote?

Could John McCain be in danger of losing a huge block of voters?  I say "yes" and here's why:  Have you ever seen him wearing an "ARMY" hat?  Nope!  I mean I'm all for showing your pride in the branch of the military you served in, but c'mon.
Then you look at how the Army troops in Afghanistan and Iraq were all impressed with BHO's ball-handling skills and his 3-point shooting ability.  Then you can't miss the fact that the majority of the military (forget about the Army) is a "minority".  I think this could be something to watch.

Then again, when you realize that I'm just teasing Johnny Mac for "representin'" the Navy (especially since he's an Academy grad - and a wonderful example of a leader).
