Sorry about the title, but I think its a pretty fair assessment of the PA congressman. If you go around and call your constituents "racists" and "rednecks" then you deserve a public flogging or something. I mean, just how much more out of touch can this guy be?!? He almost sounds as silly as Strom Thurmond did talking about black people, or Barney Frank does when just talking about anything. Please tell me that the people of western Pennsylvania aren't so simple as to grant this jacka$$ another term. I seriously hope that the retired colonel running against Murtha will kick his butt (either in the election or in real life).
Also, I am shocked that a war veteran like Mr. Murtha would lie about our Marines the way he did regarding the incident in Haditha, Iraq. These young men were innocent and not deserving of Murtha's slander. What ever happened to "honor" and "duty to country" Mr. Murtha? Are you happy that you stabbed our servicemen in the back?
